Alex leads the JavaScript Jabber panel in a discussion of writing less JavaScript and focusing on performance and functionality on low bandwidth connections and low performance phones. Because accessibility is downstream, now, of performance, he argues that we need to focus on performance to make applications that give a good experience on lower end phones and connections.
